    Thank you for your review.

We are sorry to hear this.

As we deal with over 3 million original newspapers in our Archive, dating back to the early 1900’s to present date, it is only when your newspaper is picked by a member of our Archive Team will we know the condition of that newspaper. We do try our best to repair the newspaper, however unfortunately on occasions this is just not possible and the paper becomes unfit for purpose and becomes unsellable.

An email was sent to you advising of this information and unfortunately as we no longer had any available newspapers for your requested date, our only option was to cancel your order and process a full refund, which has been issued to you.

Please do accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused.

    Kindest Regards
    The Historic Newspapers Team

Karen Pascale January 16 2022

WRONG EDITION RECEIVED! I ordered a particular day's newspaper, and they sent me a "FINAL - SPORTS EXTRA" edition instead of the main edition. I had no idea they had more than one edition of that day's newspaper. I sent them a picture of the edition I wanted. Still no luck. And they won't refund my money unless I pay for shipping both ways.

    Thank you for your review.

We are sorry to hear this.

As a personalized gift company, the personalization for an original newspaper is the requested date not the headline. As there are multiple editions of newspapers printed throughout the day, unfortunately we do not confirm which edition we have received, as this could vary from each day. As you have requested the New York Post for a certain day, this is what you have received.

We do not hold the information on file that is printed within the newspapers, therefore if a customer is looking for a specific article/headline, then our research facility can be used and our Researcher will go into the Archive Center, look and confirm what you are looking for before an order is placed.

As your order has been processed as requested, if you no longer wish to keep the newspaper received, it would need to be returned at the customer’s cost. Historic Newspapers will only cover the return costs only if there is a fault on our behalf.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenienced caused.

    Kindest Regards
    The Historic Newspapers Team
