Production Lead Times
Depending on the product you select, the lead times will vary. Check the basket for the product you wish to order for the exact lead times.
- Orders received before 11 am, ordered on the day, are considered a full day of production. Orders received after 11 am will then begin production the following day and be considered the first working day of production.
- Some items require more time, from hand-bound covers to foil-embossed covers. Please keep this in mind when ordering multiple items as some items may be dispatched and delivered separately. Unlike other companies, there are no additional charges involved in this.
- We are unable to deliver to PO boxes and US Airbases
Our working hours are Monday to Friday, however during peak months (Oct-Dec), our working hours extend to Saturday and Sunday. Any orders placed before 11 am (EST) begin production that same day. Orders received after 11 am (EST Time) begin production on the following day at the earliest convenience. Orders placed on Friday after 11 am (EST Time) or over the weekend will begin production at the earliest convenience on Monday, except during peak months (Oct-Dec) when your order will be sent to production on Saturday.
Cancelling or Amending Orders
As these are personalised products we are unable to guarantee your order can be cancelled once you have placed. Please ensure you have checked any personalization and delivery details before placing your order. In most cases your order will go straight into production, meaning there is a very limited time to be able to cancel or amend.
During peak months (October – December) we are unable to cancel or amend any order placed after 11 am on Friday as these will be sent to production over the weekend. Please get in touch with customer service as soon as possible if you need any help with your order.
Delivery Terms & Details
Historic Newspapers will deliver the products ordered by you to the address you give for delivery when you make your order. You may specify a delivery address that is different from your invoice address, if, for example, you would Historic Newspapers to deliver the products directly to a friend, a relative, or your place of work.
In the unlikely event, that you do not receive products ordered by you within 28 days of the date on which you ordered them; Historic Newspapers shall have no liability to you unless you notify Historic Newspapers by email at firstname.lastname@example.org of the problem within 40 days of the date on which you ordered the Products.
Unless you have canceled your order before delivery, you will become the owner of the products once they have been delivered to you. In any case, after delivery, they will be held at your own risk and Historic Newspapers will not be liable for any loss, damage, or destruction to the products except insofar as it arises from an inherent defect in any of the products.
