About this book

The clearance drops to Denis Law. 55,000 fans at Old Trafford hold their breath. Law chests it down and thumps a left-foot shot straight past the Liverpool keeper. The Theatre of Dreams goes wild. The 1964-65 title is well within their grasp now – if Busby’s boys can close it out, it’ll be their first since the Munich air disaster.

OF course, Busby’s boys did close out the title that year – just. And in doing so they wrote a glorious new chapter in the long history of Manchester United. This book takes Red Devils fans on a journey through that history, with authentic newspaper articles ranging from 1909 all the way up to recent seasons. 

Fans can relive the league title win of 1911, as well as the glorious seasons of the 50s and 60s. And of course, there’s plenty to read about the 90s and 2000s era of Fergie time, the Class of ‘92, the treble in ‘99 and many different Beckham haircuts.
