About this book

The Colt’s journey started in 1946 when the bankrupt Miami Seahawks were purchased and relocated to Baltimore by Bob Rodenberg. 

Before the NFL season in 1953, the Colts completed one of the biggest trades in sports history. The Colts received 10 Browns for 5 Colts. These players included Don Shula, Bert Rechichar, and Art Spinney; with their help, the Colts went on to win their opening game. Follow the Indianapolis Colts, originally the Baltimore (Maryland) Colts from 1953. Right up to their 5 Touchdown win (41-15) against the Bills. 

This book covers over 70 years of history through authentic newspaper reports as they appeared in the Washington Post.
