About this book

Beginning all the way back in 1928, reminisce about the 1970 Cotton Bowl when the Longhorns posted their 500th UT win, The Conference Championship in 1963 that saw the Rifleman be crowned a miracle worker, and other memorable games through genuine newspaper articles. 129 Longhorns have been selected to be part of the College Football All-America Team so far and with their performance in recent years that number could rise very soon.

Now updated with the 2023/2024 season that saw the Longhorns win the Big 12 championship, their first conference championship victory since 2009. With a resounding victory against Oklahoma State (49-21)! One of the most dominant programs in the NCAA scene, the Longhorns are one of the oldest and most prestigious teams in the NCAA.
