This coffee-table book features over 160 pages of authentic Washington Post newspaper reports about World War 2. It comes with a choice of covers and the option to have the recipient’s name printed on the cover for free.
This World War II book begins on the 2nd of September 1939 with the Nazi invasion of Poland. It encompasses various major events of the war in Europe including the rescue at Dunkirk, the D-Day landings, the Allied invasion of Italy, the advance into Germany, and finally VE Day.
Also incvliuded are other major engagements across the world; the North African campaigns, the fall of Hong Kong and Singapore, the fighting in Burma, and the bombing and surrender of Japan.
Naval engagements also feature, including the sinking of the Graf Spee, Scharnhorst, and the Bismarck, the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and the oceanic battles of both the Atlantic and the Pacific.
