HAMPDEN PARK, April 9th, 1921 — a sea of dark blue stretched across Glasgow as Scotland faced their oldest rivals, England. From the outset, the Scots were sharper, hungrier, and full of purpose. Andrew Wilson struck first to ignite the crowd, before Andy Cunningham doubled the lead with a brilliant run and finish. England, bewildered by Scotland’s movement, could not recover. When David Morris added a third, Hampden erupted in jubilation!
