The Dallas Texans began their journey in the AFL with strong opposition from the NFL’s newest team, the Dallas Cowboys. After making their mark, they moved to Kansas City in 1963. There, the team became the Kansas City Chiefs and continued on their path of success and, in 1966, became the first team to represent the AFL in the Super Bowl.
In 1972, the Chiefs moved into their new home, Arrowhead Stadium. Where, in the same year, they won against the Raiders in front of 82,094 onlookers. In February 2020, the Chiefs won their second Super Bowl title, quickly followed by victory over the Eagles in the 2023 Super Bowl and then a year later against the 49ers.
