Since the inception of the College Football Playoff in 2014, no team has been more dominant than Alabama, with the Crimson Tide being selected to compete in six of the seven years so far, and winning the Championship Game on three separate occasions. Of course, such success is hardly new for Alabama; their team is, by total wins, the third most successful college football outfit of all time, with 18 national titles claimed and 32 conference titles to their name. Incredibly, Alabama also provided the MVP for the first three NFL Super Bowls: Bart Starr in 1967 and 68, and the impudent Joe Namath in 1969.
Now updated with the 2023 season that saw Alabama touchdown to victory in SEC Championship Game. The 2022 season saw Young throw three touchdowns vs. Mississippi and your team beating Cincinnati for a 27:6 win. Thanks to our new Alabama Crimson Tide book, you can relive the game, and many others, through authentic newspaper coverage, beginning in 1926.
