Manufacturing Defects or Damaged Items:
We expect all Personalised Newspaper Books to arrive free of manufacturing defects, and/or damage occured in transit.
Original Newspapers should be free of major damage or tears, without damage having occurred in transit. Please note that as our newspapers are original and authentic copies, minor defects or repairs and signs of age may be present.
Should your order arrive and be found not to be free of these errors, or if you were sent an incorrect item, please contact Customer Support at info@historic-newspapers.com within 14 days of delivery and we'll be happy to provide a suitable resolution.
Returns on Personalised Products and Newspaper Books
Returns are not accepted on any 'personalized' item as they are custom-made to order, and cannot be sold to anyone else.
Returns on Non Personalised Products and Original Newspapers
Returns may be accepted on any 'non-personalised' item, such as an Original Newspaper, if the request to return is made within 14 days of delivery. A full refund will be provided upon receipt of the returned Item to our warehouse located in the United Kingdom. Please see below for the return requirements:
Return Requirements:
In order to return your non-personalized item for a full refund, the order must be:
• In perfect, re-saleable condition
• The request must be made to info@historic-newspapers within 14 days of receiving your order
• A return authorization must be received prior to returning your order
PLEASE NOTE that
• All returns must be returned to our warehouse located in the United Kingdom
• Customers are responsible for all return shipping fees in all cases except where an item is being returned due to an error on the part of Historic Newspapers.
• Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted and cannot be refunded
• Historic Newspapers can not be held responsible for returned packages lost in transit. We strongly recommend choosing a tracked method for delivery.
Change of Mind
- Change of Mind on Personalized Products Unless there has been an error on our part, or the item you purchased is defective, we cannot accept a return if the product has been personalized and the order has been fulfilled correctly, as these cannot be sold to anyone else.
- Change of Mind on Non-Personalized Products Products returned to us because you have changed your mind must be in perfect re-saleable condition, and we must be contacted within 14 days from the received date.
PLEASE NOTE: Item(s) returned to us for reasons not due to our error or defective Product(s) will not have return postage/shipping costs refunded.
Defective Items
If you return an item, whether personalized or not, because of an error on our part, or because it is defective, we will happily refund your costs in returning it to us. The item(s) must be returned in the condition in which you received it within 30 days of delivery.
Cancellations and Amendments
Original Newspaper Orders are processed immediately after completing your order, and cannot be cancelled or amended.
Personalized Newspaper Book Orders are processed within 2 hours of completing your order. During this time cancellations and address amendments may be possible, but are not guaranteed.
