About this book

Drawing on The Telegraph archives, this book of past articles covers the remarkable lives of the Prince and Princess of Wales. Beginning with William’s birth in 1982, it marks the moment that Prince Charles and Princess Diana produced an heir to the throne. A car crash in Paris in 1997 would not only claim the life of William's mother, but also shake the monarchy to its core as Britain lost its ‘People's Princess’.

Later, as a student at St Andrew's University, William would find love, and in 2011, the bells of Westminster Abbey rang out for the wedding of HRH Prince William of Wales and Miss Catherine Middleton. Since then, the arrival of their children and their devotion to worthy causes have helped them win the nation's affections. If anyone can give meaning to the term 'United Kingdom', it is William and his gracious future Queen.
